The goal of this project is to develop RGB to benchmark energy efficiency based on Green500 methodology using Redfish standard, and test it in two different environments, a real cluster and a simulated one using containerization. The result of the study showed that the Redfish API interface does not provide sufficient information to perform different quality levels of Green500 precisely. To solve this problem, we developed a new version of RGB based on Redfish telemetry model. Redfish telemetry model has not been implemented in the hardware layer of cluster facilities yet, and it is not possible to test it in real environment. The use of simulation helps us to simulate a cluster which supports redfish telemetry model, and be able to test RGB based on Redfish telemetry model. In this seminar I am going to talk about RGB tool using Redfish telemetry model, and testing it in a simulated environment. I am going to explain the process of RGB tool based on Redfish telemetry, and also the steps of running it in a simulated environment.
